A loan against property lets you borrow against a UAE home you already own. You keep the property, and the bank registers a mortgage on it until you repay.
- How much: a share of today's value set by the bank's valuation, minus any mortgage you still owe
- Who qualifies: residents and many non-residents, salaried or self-employed, within the 50% debt limit
- Term: up to 25 years, ending before the bank's age limit
- Property: completed and registered with a title deed; off-plan does not qualify
Steps: eligibility check → bank valuation → approval → mortgage registered at the Land Department → funds paid to your account.
